We just bought the Ring at Costco for $189 and it included the Chime an added doorbell. This was recommended to me a year ago from one of my friends. He couldn't believe that I didn't have it yet. I recommended it to another friend who we installed a camera system at his house. We couldn't get a camera to view his front door entrance so I told him to buy one so he could get the camera view of looking out of your front door.
I couldn't be happier with the purchase. The Ring does it all and at 720p video. They have a new one at 1080p but its almost double the price, 250. The Ring not only lets you answer the door you can talk to who ever is there too. No matter where you are in the world as long as you have an internet connection you are good to go.
You get motion detection also with custom distances. So when someone comes to your door and doesn't press the doorbell you still can get an alert and see who is lurking by your front entrance. There is live view only if your doorbell is hardwired. We love it and multiple people can get the alert. Get it now.....
